The location of this place is fantastic, it's close to Pisa airport, a bakery, and just a 30-minute walk to the old town's gates.

Location to town of Lucca, within walking distance. 1km. Our room had roof terrace but it got no sun.
This a a guest house, not a hotel, there is No reception open until 5pm, we had to ph to arrange check in. The rooms are not made up every day, other hotels provided towels for the pool, castle Nani do not. No facility to get food or drink once breakfast was over.

The location was perfect for families in a very well run family hotel in a quite and nice neighbourhood, situated 1 km from the motorway and less than 1 km from the wall aorund Lucca. Bicycles are available for renting and the rides on the wall are once in a lifetime experiences. Good shopping and cultural sites in Lucca, less tourists than seaside resorts and bigger cities. A mini Florence really! The swimming pool was delicate as well as the bedrooms and bathrooms, and they put their pride in a fantastic breakfast that suits northern europeans too! So thank you Nanni and co., We will see you again sometime.

The breakfast offerings were fantastic, with a variety of delicious options including coffee, croissants, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and cereal; the location was great and very close to the city center.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fine. The owner recommended a nearby trattoria, to eat in the evening, which was very simple, but the food was freshly prepared and good, the service was attentive and the price was very reasonable. Plenty of parking and if you were there in good weather, we're sure that the pool would be very enjoyable.
Our bathroom was very small, although the bedroom was a good size. We personally would have preferred a quieter room, perhaps on the back of the hotel. It was slightly further into Lucca than we had appreciated from the website particulars, although still very walkable if you are fit and able.

Croissants, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and cereal were better than expected. This hotel was located in a residential area right by San Giovanni, the Church and lucca especially with kids.

The B&B had a great location, just a short walk from the city walls. the pool area was a nice feature, perfect for relaxing in the afternoon. the breakfast provided was delicious and had a good variety of options.
The bathroom in our room was quite small and cramped. the wifi connection was unreliable and spotty.

The staff were friendly and helpful, when they could be found. The pool was nice but there was a lot of noisy building work going on throughout the day. the hotel was a reasonable walk from the town's walls, about 15 minutes at a good pace.
Although the room was described as a suite it really wasn't, it was very small and any person of slightly larger than average size would have difficulties moving around in the tiny bathroom. The hot water in the shower was variable and the toilet flush temperamental. The terrace was large however. Breakfasts were not good. the fruit appeared old and there was no bread or rolls just sweet pastries and crisp breads however. The coffee was good though. The hotel was noisy throughout the day due to building work and proximity to a road..

The location was very convenient to the walled City of Lucca. Plenty of parking, and bicycles for your use. There was an inground pool in the back area which was available with deck chairs. Very nice grass area around the pool. The room was a typical Italian room with shutters on the windows. It had a small chandelier above the bed and small same lamps on each side of the bed. There was wifi available at no charge, and a flat screen tv in the room. I also liked the ensuite bathroom with shower. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, with eggs and bacon if you wish. I would highly recommend Il Casale di Nanni, and would stay again. The room was clean and the bed was great.
Nothing. The bulb on the lamp by the bed was out, and was immedietly replaced. Everything was great. It would help to have a car to get there, although it is probably only about a 20 min. Walk from town.

The staff and owner were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The location was perfect to visit the city of Lucca by foot and the surrounding area was very picturesque. We would certainly stay there again, especially when it is warmer, so we could swim in the lovely pool and relax in the pretty garden.
